For 2020 we will be “virtually” coming together as we walk, hike, run, and bike on our personal route. All donations for this year’s event will go towards the construction of new affordable housing currently underway at 544 Bridgeport Road East, Kitchener. Click here to learn more about our A Place to Call Home capital campaign.
Registered participants will be invited to join our event launch at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 27th via Zoom before we all head out.
In the past, we have enjoyed using the Kissing Bridge Trail in Elmira with a distance of 14km to either West Montrose or Wallenstein. Some participants have gone the full route for 28km.
A more energetic and early-rising group from St. Jacobs has gone even further cycling 75km to the Shand Dam on Belwood Lake.
For this year’s event, we encourage you to participate however you are able to. You may want to consider using our traditional distances as a benchmark.
We’ve moved our event page over to Canada Helps and would love to have you register, join or form a team, or sponsor someone who has.
