Another Great Event to be Out-Spok’n
Out-Spok’n VIII, our annual bike-a-thon, was held on Saturday June 23rd in Elmira. There may have been a 60% chance of showers but it didn’t dampen the spirits of those who came out to participate. In fact, many people commented on how the weather was almost ideal with overcast skies and moderate temperatures.
Overall we had a great day raising over $45,000 to be used for the construction of new affordable housing in Waterloo Region. With over 3,400 households currently on the waiting list, the need is as great as ever.
